Voigtlander Ultron 21mm F1.8 Resolution Chart (with M240)

This Resolution test chart is based on Leica M Typ 240 camera body.
From top to bottom are at F/1.8, F/2, F/2.8, F/4, F/5.6, F/8, F/11, F/16, F/22.
Left 2 columns are sagittal and tangential at frame center.
Middle 2 columns are sagittal and tangential at 1/2 of frame.
Right 2 columns are sagittal and tangential at frame border.
The number 36 means there are 3600 lines across the vertical of frame(each step is 300 lines).

Comment:
This wide angle lens has two problem, one is the sharpness at 1/2 of frame is not good, the other is the optical element alignment is not at optimum. This is the 4 corners sharpness compare(hit for the 1600 pixel picture):



As you can see the sharpness at down left corner is far better than the others. So the optical elements alignment is a series problem. Just like most of the 3'rd tier manufactures Sigma, Voigtlander, Samyang and etc. They can't control the quality of mass production well.
