Zeiss Biogon 25mm F2.8 Resolution Chart (with M240)

This Resolution test chart is based on Leica M Typ 240 camera body.
From top to bottom are at F/2.8, F/4, F/5.6, F/8, F/11, F/16, F/22.
Left 2 columns are sagittal and tangential at frame center.
Middle 2 columns are sagittal and tangential at 1/2 of frame.
Right 2 columns are sagittal and tangential at frame border.
The number 36 means there are 3600 lines across the vertical of frame(each step is 300 lines).

Comment:
The resolution on the corner at full open aperture seems has a little blur, but improved by shrinking aperture to F/4. This is a common problem of wide angle lens under the full open aperture on digital camera body, because the effect of the filter stacks in front of the CMOS sensor. This is the checking of the 4 corner's sharpness(hit for the 1600 pixel picture):



As you can see the different between 4 corners are not much. So this lens's corner performance is quite good, far better than the Voigtlander Ultron 21mm or 28mm.
